Intro to Barn Hunt.

Topics included

Workshop #1 10:00 AM-1:00 PM , Workshop #2-5pm Costs:$85.00 per dog or $140 for 2 dogs with the same handler. Limit 15 per workshop.

1. What Is Barn Hunt? (Big Picture, rules and requirements)

2. What the dog is doing (hunting instinct, not obedience)

3. Emphasis on teamwork and natural ability

4. Dogs with be tested for Instinct, tunnels, climbing, and get practice in the ring

5. Handler basics: Goal: empower handlers without pressure.

· Reading your dog

· Trusting your dog (huge theme)

· Body position and movement

· Voice use (when to talk, when to shut up 😄)

· What not to do (pointing, hovering, micromanaging)
